Welcome to the Department of Pathology in NKBM Hospital, Peshawar. Today, the laboratory provides more diagnostic information for patient assessment than ever before. However, there is a lack of quality diagnostic and support services in Kpk. NKBMH, Clinical Laboratory is an attempt to fill this gap. Our mission and vision is to deliver the highest quality diagnostic services at affordable price within the hospital and beyond. The department of pathology at NKBM Hospital Peshawar contributes towards patient care through the evaluation and consultation on patient specimens in order to improve well – being of the society.
Hematology
Offers many tests for benign and malignant disorders of the peripheral blood, bone marrow and lymphoid tissue.
Serology
The Serology lab analyzes blood specimens for diseases of public health significance. A serology blood test is performed to detect and measure the levels of antibodies as a result of exposure to a particular bacteria or virus.
Clinical Pathology
is performing all the routine and specialized tests including hormones and tumor markers with no compromise on quality. Faculty members include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor.
Blood Bank
Blood Bank is providing whole blood, packed red cells and components with all the screening tests performed with latest automated equipment.
